The three orange dots in our logo carry Archie, George and Isaac—the determination to live, love and keep fighting through terminal illness. On the map, this mark will identify people and organisations who agree to be DETERMEND: visible, values-led and accountable.
The reason we keep going
Archie Naughton died from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in 2022, aged 16. One of DETERMEND’s co-founders is his mother. Archie’s brothers, George and Isaac, still live with Duchenne—and they urgently need the cure Archie wanted for them.

DETERMEND was built to help turn that wish into action: to connect a worldwide campaign with charities, businesses, influential voices, funders and investors capable of accelerating the mission to end Duchenne.
The mission is to raise €6.6 million to pursue a cure for the boys. The live campaign has already passed €100,000—and DETERMEND is also seeking a philanthropic investor or funder ready to help unlock the full mission.

DETERMEND organised the fundraising plan with Justin, built the campaign and shaped the social post. His community beat the $1,600 target in less than 24 hours—and the campaign has kept growing for The Join Our Boys Trust.

The first Cup was far more than 30+ players on a pitch. Team George and Team Isaac played in front of a crowd, with mascots, an official referee and a presenter taking the match live to social media—all raising funds and attention for The Join Our Boys Trust.
At CRATE, the community carried on with entertainment, a DJ, singer, bouncy castle, games, burger van, iced coffee, smoothies and matchas, plus a charity raffle.
The next DETERMEND Cup will be a mini-tournament where each team plays for a charity and every match moves a cause forward.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Determend platform ("Platform", "Site", "We", "Us", "Our"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
DETERMEND is a purpose-driven fundraising, network and community platform supporting charitable causes, community initiatives and impact-led campaigns. The Platform includes fundraising services, The Founding 16 launch network and The DETERMEND Map.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, keep your login details secure, and be responsible for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Determend acts as a facilitator between donors, fundraisers, and charities/causes. We do not own or control the charities listed, guarantee the outcome of fundraising campaigns, or take responsibility for how funds are ultimately used.
We may request documentation to verify identity, authority to raise funds, and charity or organisation status. Failure to provide required information may result in suspension of campaigns or withholding funds.
The Founding 16 is a limited launch programme with 16 displayed spaces in each category. Selecting a number or submitting an expression of interest does not reserve or guarantee a space. A place is confirmed only when DETERMEND approves it in writing.
An approved organisation may be displayed on The DETERMEND Map with a DETERMEND Three. The Shield identifies an approved DETERMEND network listing. It is not government approval, regulatory certification, investment advice, a financial guarantee or a guarantee of future conduct.
Launch categories, checks and capacity may evolve. Applicants must provide accurate information and may be asked for supporting documents. Full network and map terms are available on our legal page.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts.

This Privacy Policy explains how DETERMEND collects, uses and protects personal data. We process personal data only where there is an applicable lawful basis and for specified purposes described in this policy.
Determend is a fundraising and community platform supporting charitable causes, campaigns, and impact-driven initiatives. We act as a data controller for the purposes of applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and payment details, address, account login details, campaign information, donation information and technical data. Founding 16 expressions of interest collect only a full name, email address, category and optional numbered launch space. See the full Privacy Policy for purposes, lawful bases, sharing, retention and rights.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact: info@determend.com
The Founding 16 has 16 launch spaces in each category. An application or numbered-space selection is an expression of interest and does not guarantee acceptance.
The Shield identifies an approved DETERMEND network listing. It must not be presented as statutory accreditation, charity-regulator approval, investment advice, completed due diligence or a guarantee.

At Determend, trust isn't a feature — it's the foundation. We know that when someone donates, they're not just giving money. They're giving belief, hope, and trust that it will make a real difference.
Donations are processed securely via trusted providers such as Stripe. Funds are transferred to the intended charity, trust, or organisation. We do not allow fundraisers to collect donations outside the platform.
We work with real people, real stories, and real challenges. Before funds are released, we may verify the identity of fundraisers, request documentation for charities or trusts, and review campaigns for authenticity.
We have zero tolerance for fraudulent campaigns, misuse of funds, and misleading information. We reserve the right to suspend or remove campaigns, withhold donations, and take further action where necessary.
